During a career of over 40 years in the theatre, Richard has played all kinds of parts in theatres all over the UK as well as abroad
These have included the hapless king in Marlowe’s Edward II and numerous Shakespeare roles such as Malvolio (Twelfth Night) and Hortensio (The Taming of the Shrew) through to premières of new writing.
He has appeared as Dame as well as in other roles in well over 20 pantomimes all over the country
